Eligibility Criteria for TSTRANSCO Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:
  • Junior Lineman: Must possess SSLC/SSC/10th Class with I.T.I. qualification in Electrical Trade/ Wireman or 2 years Intermediate Vocational course in Electrical only from a recognized Institution/Board of combined A.P. / Telangana State Education Department as on the date of notification
  • Assistant Engineer: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in EEE/ ECE/Civil of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a Pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Sub-Engineer / Electrical: Must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or) Graduation in Electrical Engineering in addition to Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or) any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Board/University of United Govt. of A.P. / T.S. / India / UGC / DEC / AICTE
Age Limit: (As on 01.07.2017)
  • Junior Lineman: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years The age is reckoned as on 01.07.2017.
  • Age Relaxation: Age not below 18 years and not above 35 years as on 01.07.2017. Relaxation in upper age limit is permissible up to 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates and up to 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates
  • Assistant Engineer: Minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years. The age is reckoned as on 01.07.2017
  • Age Relaxation : The Upper age limit is raised up to 10 years i.e., from 34 to 44 years as per the G.O.Ms.No.190, GA (Ser.A) Dept.Dt:08.08.2017 as adopted vide T.O.O. (Jt.   • For Construction: Minimum 11 years experience in construction/ supervision of Minimum 2 lane Highway projects (flexible/ rigid pavement)/ Railway Projects/ Bridge Projects. Experience of survey/quality control along with supervision works and experience in PMC shall be given preference.
  • 3. Deputy Project Engineer (Civil) - Degree in Civil Engineering with not less than 60% Marks. M. Tech shall be given preference + Minimum 9 years experience in construction/ supervision of Minimum 2 lane highway projects (flexible/ rigid pavement)/ Railway Projects/ Bridge Projects. Experience of survey/quality control along with supervision works and experience in PMC shall be given preference.
  • 4. Assistant Project Engineer (Civil) - Degree in Civil Engineering with not less than 60% Marks. M.
